I’m back from a two-day break with a couple of selections from Salisbury and Ludlow.
Salisbury
5:35 – Micks Dream didn’t build on the promise of his 2nd of 14 over C&D on his 3-year-old debut on three subsequent starts last season. He’s been gelded since his last start 223-days ago and looks competitively weighted off mark of 67. Tom Marquand takes the ride which hopefully suggests he’s ready to roll first time.

Ludlow
2:40 – Another Stowaway won this corresponding race last season on good ground and can race off 2lb lower here. Granted the 10-year-old is hardly the most consistent of handicap chasers and the Tom George stable was in much better form coming into last years contest. Looks set to get an uncontested lead though and looks worth chancing at his odds.
