After Satin’s win yesterday I’m back at Killarney this afternoon for three selections.
Killarney
6:50 – Trueba is on a losing run that goes back to September 2021 but was back to form when 2 length 4th of 15 at Roscommon 15 days ago. If he can back up that effort, he would have claims in open looking handicap.
Trueba – 1pt win – 8/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes
7:20 – Golden Freckle returned from an 11 month absence with a promising enough 1 ¾ length 4th of 15 on handicap debut at Limerick last month. The filly didn’t get the clearest of runs 2f out that day or would have finished closer to the winner. Just had the four starts and might be capable of better.
Leviosa was a solid enough ½-length 2nd of 15 at Roscommon 15 days ago. Nudged up 2lb for her latest effort but Oisin McSweeney takes off a handy 5lb which negates the weight rise. On a winnable mark and should be thereabouts once more.
