Out of luck in the Troytown yesterday. Today, I have a fancy for one at Chepstow that runs in the same race that he won last year.

All the 9-year-old’s best form has come on soft or heavy ground so the more ease in the going the better. Given his profile he’s vulnerable to any improvers in the field but he’s dropped to a good handicap mark, 2lb lower than this time last year. Each way claims today with the possibility of better.
